About the role

Lead the architecture, development, and operation of a low-latency real-time position and risk platform, including trade lifecycle processing, risk calculations, integrations, controls, and resilience. Set engineering standards, guide delivery and production readiness, partner with front-office stakeholders, and mentor and develop the team. Requires strong Core Java and object-oriented and API design skills, with deep experience in low-latency event-driven systems, concurrency, distributed systems, streaming data, and production operations on Unix or Linux. Candidates should demonstrate architectural leadership, rigorous testing and SDLC practices, stakeholder influence, mentoring, and calm incident management; front-office trading and risk experience is preferred.
