Senior Software Engineer - OTC Trading

About the role

Design and deliver a new OTC Trading Engine across Equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, and Crypto, while modernizing existing applications and defining reliable service boundaries, data models, and event flows. Build and operate high-performance distributed services and integrations, taking ownership from requirements discovery and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and production support. Candidates need strong experience building and operating distributed backend systems, expertise in Java or C++ with working knowledge of Python, and a solid understanding of concurrency, scalable design, event-driven architecture, and low-latency systems. The role also requires translating complex business needs into robust solutions, strong ownership and communication, and experience with modern engineering practices; trading or financial-services experience and cloud-native technologies are advantageous.
