Software Engineer - Crypto

About the role

Design, build, and maintain Alpaca's crypto exchange and market-making systems, including wallet, funding, and tokenization services. Develop backend services and web applications, maintain software quality and test coverage, review code, and troubleshoot incidents and bugs. Requires at least four years of backend software development experience, a BSc, MSc, or equivalent in computer science or a related field, and experience building crypto or high-throughput, low-latency financial systems. Candidates should know a modern programming language such as Go or C/C++, messaging systems, relational databases, Bash, Linux, and Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.
