Senior Lead Software Engineer - C++ low latency (Commercial & Investment Bank - eTrading)

About the role

Lead technical work on the eTrading team, providing guidance, developing and reviewing secure production code, and influencing product design and technical operations. Promote approved AI-assisted engineering practices, validate their outputs, and improve automation, code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes across the software development lifecycle. Requires formal software engineering training or certification and 10 or more years of applied experience, with advanced C and C++ skills and hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability. Candidates must have practical cloud-native experience and demonstrate leadership in responsible, secure use of enterprise-authorized AI development tools; a relevant technical field is required, and financial services experience is preferred.
