Low Latency Java Engineer - Remote

About the role

Design, build, profile, and optimize high-performance Java components for production trading systems, focusing on latency, throughput, garbage collection, memory layout, off-heap storage, and lock-free concurrency. Integrate the technology with partner systems, contribute to shared libraries and frameworks, and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring. Requires strong commercial Java experience and deep knowledge of the JVM, garbage collection, memory management, JIT behavior, and concurrent or lock-free programming. Experience with off-heap data structures, memory-mapped files, or custom serialization is sought; fintech, trading, performance engineering, messaging libraries, FIX, or market data experience is advantageous.
