Senior Algorithmic Trading Engineer

About the role

Build and architect a scalable, highly available algorithmic trading platform serving Asia, making strategic design decisions and delivering functionality with front-office trading and product teams. Coordinate with compliance, risk and control teams, and the global team to ensure regulatory compliance and support collaborative development and strategic decisions. Requires expert applied Java experience, solid Scala experience or the ability to learn it quickly, and deep knowledge of equities trading, order lifecycles, FIX messaging, and Asian markets. Candidates should understand robust distributed trading platforms and risk in regulated environments, communicate fluently in English, and bring hands-on experience with low-latency trading, zero-GC architectures, microbenchmarking, the Linux kernel, PTP, and packet-capture-based latency monitoring.
