Senior Low Latency Java Developer, Equities Connectivity, Vice President

About the role

Develop and operate Citi's next-generation low-latency equities connectivity platforms, including exchange and client connectivity, order management, algorithm access, and direct market access. Partner with business and technology teams to improve platform performance, reliability, testing, monitoring, recovery, and production stability while mentoring engineers and managing risk. Requires 6–10 years of relevant financial technology application development experience, including low-latency Java development and knowledge of system design, performance optimization, concurrency, high-throughput architecture, and network protocols. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is specified, along with project leadership, adaptability, and clear communication skills.
