Senior Java Developer - FX Trading

About the role

Build a new Java trading platform from the ground up for a leading pensions fund, initially focused on Order Management and Trade Capture for cash FX. Expand the platform to support the wider FX product range and other asset classes. Requires strong hands-on Java development experience in financial services, ideally in a front-office environment, and experience building trading systems such as Order Management or Trade Capture applications. Candidates should understand concurrency, distributed systems, application architecture, event-driven systems, APIs, and messaging, with an interest in modern Java, performance optimization, and ideally FX markets or low-latency systems.
