Principal Software Engineer, Trading Services

About the role

Design, develop, and optimize Scala-based trading services for high-volume, low-latency, 24/7 operation, while leading architecture for scalability and performance. Mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, improve observability, and ensure secure, compliant, and reliable trade execution. Candidates should have extensive experience with high-performance distributed trading systems, JVM tuning, and 24/7 production support, along with strong networking, debugging, and communication skills. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and experience with CI/CD and functional programming in trading or exchange environments is expected; expertise in concurrency, trading protocols, messaging, and cloud-native technologies is advantageous.
