Lead Software Engineer - Markets, C++, low latency

About the role

Lead technical direction and deliver secure, high-quality software for the Commercial & Investment Bank eTrading team, including designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production applications. Guide engineering teams, influence product and technical decisions, and promote responsible AI-assisted development, automation, and firmwide software practices. Requires at least seven years of applied software engineering experience, formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, advanced C and C++ skills, and hands-on experience across system design, development, testing, and operational stability. Candidates should also have cloud-native experience, be able to lead compliant use of AI-assisted engineering tools, and have a degree or background in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
