Senior Director of eSoftware Engineering – Ultra-Low-Latency C++ / Equities Technology

About the role

Design, build, and optimize latency-critical C++ components for electronic trading, including platform infrastructure, market data, execution, and market-making systems. Partner with traders, researchers, and infrastructure teams to improve performance and reliability, operate production systems, and establish engineering standards. Requires 10+ years of applied software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading technologists, expert modern C++ skills, and a record of measurable improvements to latency-sensitive production systems. Candidates should also have strong concurrency, Linux, networking, hardware-performance, testing, and automation skills, plus hands-on experience with specification-driven development and AI agents.
