Senior Low Latency Java Developer, Equities Connectivity, Vice President

About the role

Develop and operate Citi's low-latency equities connectivity platforms, including exchange and client connectivity, order management, algorithm access, and direct market access. Partner with business and technology teams to improve platform performance, reliability, monitoring, recovery, and testing, while mentoring engineers and supporting compliance and production stability. Candidates should have 6–10 years of relevant financial technology application development experience, including low-latency development in Java. They should bring expertise in performance optimization, concurrency, high-throughput architecture, and network protocols, along with project leadership, adaptability, and clear communication; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is specified.
