About the role
Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Java applications for low-latency, high-throughput environments, including event-driven and reactive systems. Tune JVM performance and analyze bottlenecks across application, operating system, CPU, and network layers, using techniques such as memory management, shared memory, and TCP/UDP networking. Requires strong Java development experience, expertise in JVM tuning and performance optimization, and excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency. Candidates should have experience building low-latency, high-throughput event-driven or reactive systems; Aeron and exposure to HFT or capital markets are advantageous.
